Nationally and in the state of Nevada, polls are giving the lead to Senator Barack Obama.

Gallup's poll taken 10/8 through 10/10 found nationwide support for Senator Obama at 51%, and support for Senator John McCain at 42%. Several other polls taken around the same time give the lead to Obama.

In Nevada, InsiderAdvantage, Research 2000 and Rasmussen polls taken this month put Obama ahead in the Silver State by a few percent.
