Wolf Pack Football presented with big opportunity
The WAC has given the college football world a BCS buster two years in a row. First Boise, then Hawaii. Nevada has been given the opportunity to make it three years in a row. Take a look at Nevada's schedule this year and they have three preseason top 25 opponents. Missouri will be ranked in the top 10 and there's a possibility Texas Tech could also be a member of the top 10 when they come to Mackay Stadium. Just think if Nevada pulls off two of the greatest upsets in school history beating Texas Tech and Missouri back to back. The team would receive instant national attention having knocked off two potential national championship contenders in consecutive weeks. Let's not get ahead of ourselves, this is a tall order, but the opportunity is there. Nevada has a schedule worthy of recognition and if the team could somehow pull-off the improbable run of the table..Chris Ault and company can expect to play in front of 80-thousand in January. While this scenario may represent the dreams of faithful wolf pack fans...a realist or betting man would probably pack his Nevada gear and buy tickets to Boise or Honolulu.

Hawaii has beaten Nevada two straight and now the Wolf Pack have to play "at Hawaii" this year. Nevada is always tough and darn near beat Boise at Boise last year. Anything can happen in the WAC.
