Recently I was honored with the opportunity to participate in KOLO 8’s 25th Golf Classic. Golf is fun, but this charitable event is so much more. This year businesses from around
Reno gave until it hurt to raise funds for Care Chest. The nonprofit agency provides medical items & services free of charge to adults and children – an ever growing need in our changing economy.
Below are some of my pictures from that sweltering day on the course.

These guys were also cheering from the sidelines. Don't they remind you of the movie "Caddyshack"? This year's tournament leaders - and some of us other folks. Patti, Carl, Mike, Dan, me, Jim & MikeCongratulations!! KOLO's Dan Watkins has helped make this tournament possible for 25 years! Thank You! Stopping to squeeze in a little "work" with photographer John LeBosquet atop the picturesque 15th tee of LakeRidge Golf Course.. ...after which I managed to drown 2 balls. One short, one too long - darn that island. My greatest THANKS to everyone involved with this fantastic event., and for the opportunity to be a part of it.
