Hello,

Thanks for spending some time with me.

Often people ask what it’s like to be on TV. It’s not at all what you’d think. We seldom get preferential treatment, free stuff or make hoards of money. Occasionally you may be recognized in public, but it’s usually when you’re buying toilette paper, tampons or doing some other equally embarrassing/humbling activity.

The thing that makes this job worthwhile, for me anyway, is the opportunity to do things and meet people that I otherwise would have never known. That’s what I’d like to share with you in this blog. Please take a look at the world through my eyes… and hopefully there will be someone or something that will change the way you see the world.

Cheers!

kk

Hi Clarissa, I apologize for not responding sooner! Thanks for taking the time to say "hi" and for your positive feedback on the weekend show. We all have a pretty good time putting it together. I hope you will stick with us as we continue to grow! Keep in touch!

Hi Kendra. How cool to get a look behind the scenes. I read your bio when you first started working on kolo and am really impressed with your background. Thanks again for a look behind the scenes. As a viewer it's fun to see the other side of things in the television studio. I enjoy the weekend team of you and Mr Stoddard, you guys have good chemistry. Any chance we may see you in the evenings? Take care !

To: RedBaron Yes... You're right. Definitely better to be lucky! As far as the crew. I belong to them. They'd be fine without me... but I'd be nothing without them. Unfortunately, it's when they are doing their best work when people are least aware of them. Getting back to being lucky.... I'm the most fortunate producer, because our weekend team has great synergy! I'm lucky to be part of that team.

Better lucky than good I guess. Awesome pictures. Is it cool to have your own crew?

That is so cool! How do you get a job at Entertainment Tonight?
  • by Kendra on Nov 6, 2007 at 05:39 PM
To: RedBaron Hi! Thanks for your note! Yes. In the several years that I spent working at Entertainment Tonight on the Paramount Lot I did have the opportunity to meet many celebrities. Early on I spent many weekends working movie junkets. That's a press event where the stars of a particular show would do all of their interviews on one day. It's usually set up in a hotel and the stars do interviews as the different press agencies cycle through. Because of these long tiresome days, I would doubt that many of the celebs would remember me. But some of the people I most enjoyed meeting were Adam Sandler, Denzel Washington, Garth Brooks, and Drew Barrymore. As you can imagine my interactions with them were brief and business related. But each one of them struck me as a very kind and "real" person. Still if given the chance to work with celebrities, or the many wonderful and interesting people that I meet everyday working in news. I wouldn't trade this life for anything. KK
