First off, I need to be honest.  I own a Pit Bull.  He's the best friend I've ever had.  He's gentle, kind and full of love.  That's why I never want to see Michael Vick in the NFL again.

I'm all for second chances, but I disagree that everyone DESERVES a second chance.  Michael Vick is accused of evil things.  To this day I cannot see how someone could kill dogs in such a brutal fashion (drowning, bashing in their heads, etc.)  To me, someone who does that is incapable of changing.  I'm sure he'll never do it again, but that's not good enough for me.  Hundreds of dogs were killed during his association with "fighting" rings.  They will never get another chance.

I'm all for Michael Vick getting a second chance to live a life outside of prison.  But I'm against that life being associated in any way with the NFL.  He was given a tremendous opportunity.....and he blew it!  Most people will never get the chance to make millions and become a star in the NFL.

I hope that he never suits up again in the NFL.  I hope that he finds some peace in his life, and I hope that he finds some gainful employment.....as a mechanic, a salesman, a grocery clerk, whatever.  I don't want him to get another chance to become a star.  He's no hero, he's no idol.  He's a man that did a very bad thing.....several times.

Good luck Mike....here's hoping we never hear from you again!

listen, it's not just that he engaged in "dog fighting" - he killed and TORTURED ANIMALS - electrocution/ hanging/ other fun for him!!! that is the clinical definition of a SOCIOPATH - wake up folks!!! this is the type of "person" that becomes a serial killer!!! and some of you want to wave the NFL flag? read a book!!!

The Reno SPCA has openings for kennel attendants - $9/hr. That's way better than Sick Vick deserves.

Where is the second chance for the dogs that were brutally murdered and abused??? when do they get a second chance...As a long time NFL fan and an owner of a beautiful, sweet, affectionate and loyal pit bull...if Michael Vick plays for the NFL again....I WILL NOT be a fan or watch!...

Absoultey Not. He really thought he was all THAT and a bag of chips killing those dogs like they didn't matter...they didn't get a second chance. His 15 minutes of fame was over before he knew it. People like him aren't hard to figure out...I only hope he is not allowed to breed, so he won't do to a human being what he did to those poor dogs. It's too bad they let him out.

I can't believe that the NFL would even consider having Michael Vick back in football. Is this the kinda of person we want our young people to look up to I think not. He is below dog poop the lowest of the low. He doesn't deserve to play football. What he did is a disgrace. I will hope that if he comes back that he will make another mistake and end up back in jail.

I think he should be allowd back in the NFL. But he should also be made to forfit 50% of his Salary and have it go to aminal shelters across the country. Then some good would will come from all of this.

Only thing I'd like him to get a job at across the country, is cleaning up kennels and dog poop for the rest of his life. He's no honorable man that our youth should look at to much less back in the NFL.

NO FOOTBALL, IF VICK, IS ALLOWED BACK INTO THE NFL. I WILL KEEP SUPPORTING S.F. 49ERS & OAKLAND RAIDERS. I BELIEVE THAT VICK SHOULD WORK AT A LOCAL S.P.C.A.! THAT VICK'S SECOND CHANCE. NOT ALLOWED BACK IN THE NFL OR AFL! NO SECOND CHANCE....
