The latest Zogby poll says Senator John McCain has made gains in several swing states including Nevada. The other states are: New Hampshire, New Mexico, Virginia and Missouri. In the Silver State, the latest Zogby poll has support for the McCain/Palin ticket at 51.5% and support for the Obama/Biden ticket at 44.0%. Zogby considers Nevada too close to call at this time. Despite apparent gains for the GOP, the Democrats have passed a key threshold, Zogby estimates. The polling organization says based on its data, the Obama/Biden ticket would currently win 273 electoral votes. 270 are needed to elect. Zogby says at the moment the McCain/Palin ticket would take 174. 91 votes are considered too close to call by Zogby. View the polling data: http://www.zogby.com/news/ReadNews.dbm?ID=1603 |
