Well I'm about to leave the biggest little city for a job in Phoenix and it's not going to be easy. I was driving with my wife the other night, looking at the city skyline, and told her " Wow, I'm really going to miss this place." The people in this community have been fantastic. If we shared a small conversation at the grocery store, movie theatre, or casino :) ....you know I love what I do and I take pride in being a voice to the community. I've seen local high school stars grow into NFL players. I've traveled the country following the Wolf Pack. I played rugby with the National Champion Reno Zephyrs. I've gone through a Mark Fox led basketball practice. I've done so much in so little time that it really emulates this city's "biggest little city" slogan. Nothing will top the hustle and bustle of a Friday Night Sports Caravan. The hardest show to put together is also the most rewarding part of the job. Josh and I had a blast and we looked forward to Friday nights. I spent my college years here and KOLO gave me my first job in television. This will always be my TV home. My wife Malia and I have friends and family here, so of course we'll stop in from time to time. If we happen to run into each other out and about, please come up and say "hi". Thanks for the memories Reno. |

Eric--the best of luck you to you! I've watched you from day 1 & you have evolved into a great news & sports caster. I've enjoyed the Sports Caravan; you & Josh were great together! By the way, I loved your Halloween getups--I couldn't stop laughing--I so enjoyed that--thanks for all your antics & adlibs. I always looked forward to Friday nights. I was shocked to learn you were leaving us, but you deserve to move on to greener pastures. Phoenix is a great place & you're escaping our winters. Thank you for your Goodbye Reno note--would've been disappointed if I didn't know what happened to you. You will surely be missed--good luck to you!!
