| It's the same every Thanksgiving. The smell of turkey in the kitchen and football on TV. It's the same smell and it's also the same teams. I've been asked whether I agree with keeping the Lions and the Cowboys the two featured teams on the holiday. I say keep it. Although the Lions have become one of the worst teams in football and the Cowboys are a team you either love em or hate em, I think the Lions and Cowboys are as traditional as the stuffing on the table. The new night game mixes things up by rotating teams. Philly got a home game on Thanksgiving this year. That's great. It will be someone else next year. So every team will likely get a chance to host a game on Thanksgiving. Keep the Lions and the Boys and rotate the third game. |
