Here we are at the end of another long, hot summer in Western Nevada. Just one weekend left to salute summer's sultry stand... while welcoming the shorter, cooler days of fall. Already the sun has started to dip behind Pevine... as I leave for dinner at 7:00 pm. So how do you feel about the changing of the seasons? Will you mourn the loss of the summer heat? Or are you like me... ready and willing to pass the torch to Fall. Ultimately excited that Fall will quickly fade to Winter... and that the first snows will soon fall along the Sierra Crest! In the meantime I'll spend this last weekend of Summer (A COOL weekend at that) tiling our kitchen backsplash. Trying to put to bed a re-model project that Meliss and I started the beginning of July. A summer's worth of honey do's and honey please dont's... will also soon be coming to an end. Have a great last weekend of Summer... however you plan to spend it. Chris Larson |
