In case you haven't noticed, things are changing. Not just the weather, traffic, hairstyles, politics, waistlines or the time... but also KOLO 8 Daybreak. As you already know, I've stepped in as anchor for our morning broadcast. I had very big shoes to fill and work every day to bring a fresh and exciting broadcast to the Truckee Meadows.
That brings me to another change: the format. We're lightening and loosening up the show. If you're used to the "old school" style of news, our new look might be a bit of a shock. Stick with us, though, and I think you'll enjoy what we have to offer!
So, aside from what I've already mentioned, what change is so big, I felt inclined to write a blog about it? Dennis! The newest face of KOLO 8. Dennis comes from Illinois, so Reno will be very different. But, I must say, we're happy to have him!
I understand that in a place like Reno, folks are used to an easy way of life. Change can be scary, it can be frustrating, but most importantly, it is exciting.
