Jan 20th, 2008 - Brianna and her friends go to sleep. In the morning, her friend KT Hunter wakes to find Brianna Denison missing, a small blood stain left behind on her pillow.

Jan 20th, - February 14th, 2008 - Thousands of community members comb the streets of Reno and open spaces, searching for signs of Brianna Denison.

February 15th, 2008 - A man walking in a field near Prototype Drive in South Reno discovers the naked body of a young girl that resembles Brianna Denison.

February 16th, 2008 - Police confirm the body found in South Reno is that of 19-year-old Brianna Denison.

March 13th, 2008 - Public donations allow Washoe County Crime Lab to test more than 3,000 DNA samples in our community, none of which led them to a suspect in the Brianna Denison murder case.

November 3rd, 2008 - Bring Bri Justice Foundation open its doors. Family vows to keep a spotlight on the case and emphasizes importance of funding for DNA testing.

November 26th, 2008 - Police announce they've arrested 27-year-old James Biela for the murder and rape of Brianna Denison and the sexual assaults of two other women. A Secret Witness tip from the suspect's girlfriend's friend led police to Biela.

December 11th, 2008 - James Biela bound over to stand trial in Washoe County for the murder and rape of Brianna Denison, and the rapes of two other women. Washoe County District Attorney Dick Gammick announces he will seek the death penalty.

May 10th, 2010 - Jury selection begins in the trial for James Biela.
