FRESNO, Calif.—Edgar Gonzalez slapped a single up the middle in the bottom of the 11th inning, chasing home the game-winning run for the Fresno Grizzlies in a 5-4 walk-off win over the Reno Aces Sunday at Chukchansi Park.

With the game knotted at two, the Aces plated two runs in the 7th to take a 4-2 advantage. The Grizzlies would answer, though, scoring two of their own to tie up the score again at 4-4. Both teams went silently in the eighth, ninth and 10th innings, before Gonzalez ended the proceedings with one out in the 11th.

Ryan Langerhans, making just his second start since joining the Aces, finished 4-for-5 with four RBIs, two runs scored and two home runs. Robby Hammock helped lead a 12-hit Reno effort with three hits—including two doubles.

Jason Urquidez (3-5) took the loss out of the Aces bullpen after surrendering the walk-off single in the 11th. Prior to that frame, Urquidez held the Grizzlies offense at bay in the ninth and 10th innings. Aces starter Zach Kroenke worked 6.2 innings, allowing four runs on 10 hits with a walk and a strikeout in a 90-pitch effort.

Ronnie Ray (3-2) earned the win out of the Grizzlies bullpen, holding the Aces scoreless over the game’s final two frames. Starter Andrew Kown scattered two runs on seven hits with seven strikeouts over 6.0 innings of work.

The Aces and Grizzlies hit the third-leg of this four-game set on Monday night at Chukchansi Park. RHP Gaby Hernandez (4-3, 6.29 ERA) gets the nod for Reno, while the Grizzlies will counter with RHP Felix Romero (0-4, 5.26 ERA). First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. PT.
