RENO - Aces catcher Robby Hammock was called up by the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday. He's back in the big leagues for the first time since 2008.

The 34-year old Hammock batted .257 with seven doubles, five home runs and 21 RBI in 37 games this year in Reno.

Hammock has played in 180 Major League games, batting .255 with 12 home runs and 48 RBI.
