Cubs beat Dodgers 5-0 to reach 1st World Series since 1945

Cursed by a Billy Goat, bedeviled by Bartman and crushed by decades of disappointment, the Chicago Cubs are at long last headed back to the World Series.

The merger combines a telecom giant that owns a leading cellphone business, DirecTV and internet service with the company behind some of the world's most popular entertainment.

They are asking for help from any hikers who might have been in the area, even if they did not see Robert “Bob” Woodie, 74, of Manhattan Beach, because they would like to know what areas he was not in.

The singer surprised students Saturday afternoon when she knocked on the doors of their dorm rooms wearing a T-shirt that read "Nasty Woman."
