- High pressure will control our weather through the weekend. Temperatures will be well above average, with 90s in the forecast for western Nevada valleys. By Sunday afternoon, wind will increase ahead of an approaching trough of low pressure. This system will track into the Pacific Northwest on Monday, dragging a cold front through the area. While showers will stay mainly north of I-80, wind will continue to be gusty at times, and temperatures will cool back into the 70s for valley highs through next week. -Jeff

- The city of Reno has already opened the Idlewild pool
for the 2015 season, but there is still plenty of work to be done. The public is invited to Adopt-A-Pool Saturday May 30th from 10AM-1PM.
